a mixed bag from some....of course my "smooth brain" was pretty clear on the pecking order in the depth chart from the get go
i recall when Baker was signed, it was clear he was starter but many still thinking Trask had a shot
i dont mean to be so "hard headed", just some things are clear as day and Bucs signing Baker to compete with Trask and Bridgewater to compete with Trask were not competitions at all
I think intially it was a competition because they watched Trask play and realized he wasn't an NFL QB.

i remember our cornerbacks missed alot of time that year - Davis i think missed like 7 games, SMB 8 games, Dean a handful of games, Winfield about 4, White head 3, etc.
instead of wasting picks on kick returners and project back up qbs, maybe a half decent CB could have been the difference in winning 1 more game, particularly looking at New Orleans and Washington back to back losses with the likes of Pierre Desir playing cornerback for us and Andrew Adams and Russ Cockrell.
