knees, I admire your dedication - I really do - but Evans is not/was not getting another ring here. The last time the Bucs got one before Brady/Arians delivered one was 18 years between hoists. Nothing about those stats are "static". The league is very dynamic and every year can yield very different results. The 49ers have at least been in the Super Bowl 3 times since they last won one. The Bucs haven't really been close since Brady/Arians. The fact is the 49ers offense is far more closer to lifting the Lombardi than the Bucs are on paper.....which means zero. We know San Francisco, Buffalo, and Tampa Bay offered him contracts. We also know Evans took less than what Tampa offered to play in SF. Not sure where Buffalo's offer was, but it obviously could have been more than what SF offered as well. There were reports of Kansas City, Baltimore, & New England also being in the mix, but nothing more than that.

You just made my point for me here. Look at the year we won it in 2020. We were absolutely used in the first half vs. the Chiefs in the regular season. Then we made a game of it in the second half and never let up in the Super Bowl. Tampa just needed health last season and there would have been a different outcome.
