Lots of outrage on the board for a game most say they penciled in as a loss. The Bucs almost got back in it after 4 turnovers lol

I'm not going to waste my time replying to your rebuttal about what this is. I will, however, give this post some merit.

I don't think it has anything to do with the loss itself. I had the Bucs losing this game anyway. What concerns me, and what should concern every Bucs fan, is how they lost.

The Bengals were vulnerable to the run, and the Bucs came out establishing it. Then, for whatever reason, they got away from it, and the wheels completely fell off.

Defensively, you simply cannot get stops on only 22% of your snaps. You just can't. To me, an effective defense should be somewhere around 40-45%. They were essentially performing at half of what I'd consider average.

Now, a lot of that was influenced by where the Bengals were getting the football. Nobody is disputing that and MacPherson can kick field goals from the 50. But the underlying issue I see, as someone who has watched the Bucs his entire life, is that yesterday's defense looked no different than the defense that limped to the finish line last season.

One player out of eleven played up to par. One.

And I also saw shitty ass coaching from Bowles AGAIN, who calls the defense. Just look at the constant soft zones he kept dialing up and watch how Cincy ate that up with their TE.

There was a lot wrong with yesterday's performance. My point is that it wasn't just Baker's turnovers that should have everyone concerned. That's all I'm saying.

look at the percentages of the last 6 games last year. Doesn’t really equate with your limping to finish the season and effective defense combination

what does equate is an offense that couldn’t put up more than 20 points and played well enough to lose 5 games in that span. Somehow we won 2 games

Badabing, do you have some kind of learning disorder? No one (at least I haven't) said that stop % equals wins or whatever comparison you are trying to make poorly. The point is that whether it's 22%, 33%, or 45%, the fucking Bucs cannot play defense like they did yesterday. Period. I have them at 6-11 for the season. They play like they did yesterday in all facets of the game, and they could just as easily be 1-16. It was that bad. THAT'S THE MOTHERFUCKING POINT, since you can't seem to grasp that.
