To answer directly, no. He should be full speed ahead all the time and hopefully that works well enough. That said, even Myles Garrett stunts, delays and yes drops. Because the point is not the coverage it confusing the line. So, its not hard to imagine Bain's use as a rare dropper
Mike MacDonald just won a Super Bowl with the "glitch blitz" lol. Thats two . . . 2 . . interior defensive lineman dropping into passing lanes. That blitz is set up by vanilla four man rushes, but those have to get home for it to work well
The Patriots use the same edge rusher drop outs as Bowles.
That said, because its all about deception if you can just rush 4 with some success you have the foundation to blitz occasionally. Bowles doesnt do that very often. Won a SB with that, but that is not his nor

There is a lot of Walker hype but he is not doing it against high caliber competition. I mean even Braswell is making plays against these guys so PR needs to pump the breaks a bit on the Walker hype.
Got it. Just came across as snarky and since I have been the crybaby screaming the most about him dropping into coverage, I thought it was aimed my direction. Regardless, I stand firm that using him in this manner is not utilizing his strengths.
