It's possible that oline sucks and baker sucks. I vote for that option right now.
And, again, this would be accurate.
one of the most retarded things this franchise has done in the Licht era. Up there with not firing Bowles last year and prematurely extending him
What was more disappointing to me was the mixed emotions from the fan base. Realize you and I were in the "let's wait and let him play out this year camp" but others were pounding the table for the extension.
Your overly emotional public breakup with Baker needs to be studied.
It’s like a mix of a soap opera and a teen pop song.
Entertaining as hell though.
i know you were slam dunking when the Bucs extended him.
Care to share the links to me doing so?
Btw, you never answered my question about your lower back Baker tatoo coverup.
Did you do something with Julio Jones being AB 2.0?
you started a thread “baker extended” and a comment i think something along the lines of “as most of us expected”
so either you agreed with the extension or you knew the franchise was so poorly run that of course they’d extend the underperforming QB
Mayfield out 3 weeks?
We’re probably talking a minimum of three weeks [for Mayfield’s return,]” Bowles said.
so either you agreed with the extension or you knew the franchise was so poorly run that of course they’d extend the underperforming QB
Even a Philly “special” like you should be able to figure this out.

LOL, or you could just say? Its not a state secret and I think you called the contract amount almost exactly.
Watch the rookie turn around the season lol

Nah.
What I said was appropriate.
But, appreciate you looking out.
Mayfield out 3 weeks?
let's hope he doesnt try to rush back. Good lord. could you imagine how bad he would be playing injured?
at least we got to see him healthy and play like shit so that excuse goes out the window when he comes back and struggles to toss for 200 yards and more than a TD
Watch the rookie turn around the season lol
The defense is holding opponents to low scores against opposing offenses. All the rookie has to do is flip field position and let McLaughlin nail those FGs. I guess 1999 Buc ball is back.

its stupid he's even injured. 4th and 13 in the 4th trying to make a desperate play running around like a chicken
Coaches have to know better and they need to have a game plan. Mayfield has to know better. All in all they are all unprepared.

but we all agree Bowles made the right call to go for it, right?
the offense hasn't done shit all day and just needed to complete a pass to convert.
If Bowles would have punted and defense gave up a first down, clock runs out, Bowles be getting blasted for not going for it
He 100% had to go for it even though we knew it was a fruitless effort with the anemic offense
Baker is nowhere near an elite QB, that was obvious before the new contract. But I'll cut him a little slack, and the O-line, because we're asking these guys to learn a new offense for what, 5 years straight now? Given how the offense is performing odds are it will be six going into next season. How can anyone expect success in this kind of environment? You can't install a new offense each year for half a decade and expect any team to look good. The franchise is a clown show and that's because it's owned by clowns
I wouldn't at all be surprised if we chose an undrafted rookie as our backup to have a built in excuse to, yet again, keep Bowles if Baker got hurt. The death blow for any franchise is if ownership has no standards and no commitment to winning. That is our reality and it's clear. If you're still going to games you're a fool. The problem is obvious, the Glazers need to sell this team, until that happens nothing else matters.
