"Ted Hurst is my FAVORITE sleeper in this years WR class. Small school, BIG potential. I see some Larry Fitzgerald in his film"  Bucs fans should be excited for this one"

Shades of M1K3 on the fade in the EZ.

Dont mind the pick, probably won't play a ton this year but this team absolutely needed a big bodied Wr. Do we remember fade routes to sterling shepherd?

Godwin probably has a couple years left at a high level, Egbuka and McMillan should be around for a while and tez will always be a number 4 or 5.

Smith compares him to Larry Fitzgerald in terms of his technique and catching style. The comparison has to end there though, right? Fitzgerald grew up around the NFL and was an AA at Pitt?  Hurst is sort of the opposite, a kid who has never been out of his state. Savannah, Valdosta State . . GSU.

Intrigued to see how he does at the NFL level.

Don’t put unrealistic expectations on him.

Agreed.

Not saying he’s a bad player or anything, but constant ME comparisons are wild.

My guess is he’ll get slowly weened in throughout the season, then play a much bigger role once they cut bait with Godwin after this season.

Small school player will naturally have to prove himself but sounds like he has the tools to work with and if he works hard he can carve out maybe a decent career if he gets the opportunities to as well.

The president? I am kidding, Fire. You are overreacting with the Hurst pick but I am 100% with you on the Trotter pick. The thing with the Hurst pick is this: Godwin hasn't shown he can return to the level of wideout he was before he got his leg snapped in half and I am not sure he will. Hurst can fill the X-position as a receiver and he has a season to grow. That is a good thing.

Godwin will most likely be outright released next offseason, if not traded before this season’s deadline (or at least he should).

That would move Egbuka into the slot, JMac outside and Hurst to the X.

Don’t hate the player. Though, would’ve preferred Pegnon. He was EASILY the BPA there, and at a position of need.

It's drafting for need when we had a guard fall to us that drives me nuts. If there were no other options it's fine... Pick of the litter.

Both 2nd and 3rd round picks are a reach when 2 really good valueable players dropped in your lap.

It's that's massive ABSOLUTELY MASSIVE delta in value.
