apparently the Knees thinks we already have a top 5 WR core so there's that!
Only a football idiot would see a WR room with Godwin, McMillan, Egbuka, Tez, and Hurst and think...."we are somewhere in the 15-20 range as a WR room.". If you think this core is outside the top 5 please share with me who is better 1-5.
In the NFC, we are a top 10 unit for sure but there's so much unknown with our group that it would be foolish to call us a top 10 unit in the NFL.
Potentially we could crack it with a good year tho
And then watch us swerve into the coaching conversation: offensive coaching that ended with the-not-ready-for-prime-time Grizz getting exposed, as not ready. There were many factors a play last season, of which poor coaching on offense, and bad talent, depending on stars like that faded quickly.
Poor coaching in both sides of the ball made Bowles rely on his defense, and made Grizz take chances and decide decide to use his one weapon WR as a decoy, late in thin season.
Yeah we know coaching was an issue in 2025 but they can't control who is on the roster and Licht needs to take some heat for not being pro active before the season began or during the season to address this.
Right now CB and guard are the weak spots just like they were last season as well as the last few years ever since Marpet retired and post SB victory this team has been chaotic on defense due to DB injuries. Licht at least doubled dipped at CB last season but what about guard?
It's not true. What Prisco and Co. "reported" on March 9th was blown up by Licht on March 18th when he admitted the Bucs first offer was "significantly" more money than Evans signed for in SF:
Bucs general manager Jason Licht said of the team trying to keep Mike Evans: “We made a significantly higher offer [than the 49ers] and that was just the first offer." He added, "I feel like we did everything we could."
3rd & 28. But the usual leghumpers love a false narrative.
The OBVIOUS response (because you are dishonest AF) would be "GM Speak," right?
You credit the team or GM or coach or player when they say something you want to support, cast it away as "GM SPEAK" OR "PLAYEWR SPEAK" OR "COACH" SPEAK when it does not
lmao
"
The flop was so bad that there was speculation Mike Evans, one of the greatest and most popular players in franchise history, left in free agency for the 49ers because of head coach Todd Bowles, who was retained despite Tampa Bay blowing one of the worst divisions in NFL history. General manager Jason Licht said that had “zero to do with” Evans leaving.

Everything Biggs Touches Dies
1000% predictable that Biggs would credit as truth something said by Licht only to have Licht words come back to bite him.
Evans didn't leave because of Bowles lol

I would hardly take lichts word as proof. Yeah clearly he isn’t going throw the head coach the organization decided to retain under the bus.
i am sure Bowles contributed to Evans departure. But I think there were other reasons too such as 49ers being a better team, better brand for him life after nfl, perceived better way to pad stats (although I felt he was better off in Tampa), etc.
He clearly wanted change and Bowles was with the organization ahead coach since 2022 and in locker room since 2019. clearly, Bowles was a reason
Biggs will be along momentarily lol

Yeah, nobody with a clue expected Licht to confirm Evans took less money to move across the country because of 3rd-and-28.
Deciphering GM-speak still bewilders the simpletons among us.

Simpletons?? Everyone inside One Buc Place knows this to be true, which is Mike Evans was never offered more in Tampa and it was mutually agreed to go a different direction. Some people hold on to the health and ability of Mike Evans from 2016 and assume it will be like that forever. It’s really fascinating.

You said Brady was washed back in 2018, so you sure know your stuff.
Considering you're one of Bowles most outspoken cock holsters; I know it's painful for you to see one of the most beloved players in franchise history take less money to move to the other side of the country in order to get away from the clueless dope on the sidelines.
Draw a hot bath, pop a midol, and fire up your favorite Lillith Fair playlist.
You're going to be okay.
I’ve pointed out the lack of top level talent on this roster before and all the Licht apologists told me I was wrong. Bowles is definitely the main problem, but Licht isn’t exactly doing a great job since the Super Bowl run either. He needs to do better for this team.
Its so hard to say the negative contribution by Licht's talent gathering versus Bowles' coaching. Licht and the Glazers sure seem to think 2025 was lack of depth and injuries or else they never bring Bowles back, but last season the team basically quit on Bowles and that part is the thing he had going for him (ie the players loving the guy)
The 2026 season could have the Bucs in the playoffs or at 3 wins lmao
